Reese Liner #19

Reese is a Captain of our Sting Black 08 ECNL team and Varsity starter for Highland Park High School in Dallas, TX. As a 6’ center back, Reese leads the defense with confidence and attacks tackles with conviction. Reese is dominant and dependable on our back line, contributing to many shutouts. She also contributes goals on corners and set plays, demonstrating her strength and force in the box. 

Reese is ranked #39 nationally in the 2026 Class by PrepSoccer, #122 nationally by TopDrawerSoccer, and is in the IMYouthSoccer Top 100. She was awarded ECNL Girls Texas All-Conference 1st Team in 2024, 2nd Team in 2023, and has participated in USYNT Talent ID Centers in Dallas in both 2022 and 2023. PrepSoccer recognized Reese in the Best XI at ECNL Phoenix 2023 and in the Best XI 08s at the ECNL Playoffs in 2023. She was recently recognized by PrepSoccer as a best performer from the age group at ECNL Florida 2024.

As a sophomore on her high school team, she was awarded 1st Team All-District and Academic All-District in Texas District 7-6A, scoring 9 goals and contributing 5 assists from her Center Back position. Reese maintains a 4.2 GPA and takes honors and advance placement classes to further her academic goals.
